As Ann Cichon approaches her twenty-third anniversary in design she often reflects on the path that brought her this far. Her career began at Neiman Marcus in 1971 as a fashion model. There, she explored her many talents over the next twelve years from sales support to merchandising. During that time she observed trends in fashion. As they came and went she realized that she could provide women with a more personal, enduring style. Something less influenced by "trends". And so . . .Ann Cichon & Company was born. Her first twelve years were spent designing unique fashion jewlery that was sold in boutiques and specialty mail order catalogs. Ann's extraordinary talent for combining color and texture quickly became admired and appreciated throughout the fashion industry. Next, Ann turned her considerable talents to developing decorative giftware and home accessories -- again choosing to lead rather than follow fashion trends. Her intricately adorned objects range from jeweled crystal bar and tableware to one of a kind candlesticks, bath and desk accessories and decorative objects of every description. Her work continues to be given as gifts to fortunate individuals the world over, and has been appreciated by millions in television and film. Today, anyone who receives an Ann Cichon design knows that they have a lovingly created original -- entirely hand made by Ann in her Dallas workshop using carefully selected high quality materials.
